Our 155,000-square-foot, fully certified facility in Nogales offers the most advanced equipment available to market-leading Fortune 500 and multibillion-dollar international companies with a full range of cable harness, wire assembly, and electromechanical needs. ICA de Mexico has a sales and customer support office in Tucson, Arizona.
ICA de Mexico was started in 1980 as Atronix, a company that pioneered cable assembly manufacturing in Mexico. Since then, the facility has been a trusted provider of wire harness and cable assembly manufacturing services to Fortune 500 and multinational OEMs in a variety of end markets. Atronix joined the ICA family of companies in 2014.
As the ICA family of companies grew, the depth and breadth of capabilities required to support our strategic network of companies in meeting customer needs necessitated that we expand our capacity in Mexico. To give our customers scale and cost advantages, we tripled the size of our existing facility in 2016 to offer the latest in technology and equipment for both smaller harnesses manufactured in a production cell environment and large harnesses with as many as 1,000 circuits that require large assembly boards. Today, ICA de Mexico is staffed with top management and supervisory talent hand-selected from the ICA family and our industry. Our team of over 850 experienced professionals provides outstanding manufacturing and assembly, engineering, quality, supply chain, and customer support to a diverse international customer base.
